Margaret Leslie Davis is the award-winning author of The Culture Broker, Rivers in the Desert, and the Los Angeles Times bestseller, Dark Side of Fortune.
She is a California lawyer and graduate of Georgetown University.
Davis stumbled upon the topic for Mona Lisa in Camelot when she discovered correspondence between First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy and National Gallery of Art Director John Walker
concerning the 1963 exhibition of the Mona Lisa in Washington D.C.
"This story is a valentine to art, culture, and diplomacy," says Davis. "We know Mrs. Kennedy as a pacesetter in beauty and fashion, but few know the extensive role she played as cultural ambassador."
